Learners compare tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Grok; practice real workplace tasks; build a basic custom assistant; explore low-risk agent use cases; and learn how to apply AI responsibly in daily work. The course is designed for non-technical professionals and requires no coding background.

Audience: This course is designed for business professionals with zero to light AI experience who need to use AI as part of their daily work. It is especially helpful for managers, team leads, project coordinators, marketing, sales, customer service, operations, HR, finance, executives, executive assistants, and knowledge workers using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google Gemini, or similar AI platforms.

Course Objectives: After completing this course, learners will be able to:

  • Explain what large language models are, what they can and cannot do, and why they sometimes hallucinate
  • Select the right AI assistant for a business task based on capability, licensing, and data sensitivity
  • Write prompts that produce usable drafts for emails, summaries, outlines, analysis, policies, and presentations
  • Use multimodal AI features such as voice, image, document upload, and screen sharing
  • Build a basic custom assistant for a repeating workplace task
  • Describe what AI agents are, where they fit, and what risks they introduce
  • Draft or apply an AI acceptable-use policy
  • Recognize common AI risks including data leakage, hallucination, bias, prompt injection, and copyright exposure

Prerequisites: No coding or technical background required. Learners should be comfortable using a web browser, email, documents, and common workplace tools.
