What kinds of courses does ITSM Academy offer?

We specialize in all types of IT Service Management training, including ITIL, AIOps, DevOps, SRE, Process Design (CPDE), Value Stream Management, and Employee Experience (XLA).

We offer Instructor-led courses in our open-enrollment virtual classrooms, private team deliveries, courseware licensing, eLearning, and independent-study options.

I've earned my ITIL Foundation certification. How do I decide what advanced course to take next?

Where can I browse courses and dates?

Our Print Calendar lists upcoming classes and dates, as well as our classes currently on the Waitlist. Once we have enough learners interested, we then will add dates.

Are exam vouchers included with your certification courses?

Yes. ITIL and DevOps certification courses include an official PeopleCert exam voucher – see each course page for details. Example: ITIL Foundation. For ITIL and DevOps learners, we strongly encourage you to add on PeopleCert+ Annual Membership. Courses with certifications provided with other exam institutes have the option to include the voucher at the time of seat registration, but it's not mandatory as it is with PeopleCert.

Can alumni retake a class they have already attended?

Yes! If you are an ITSM Academy alumnus and would like to sit in on any class you have previously attended, you are welcome back into the classroom as an auditor at any time, at no cost. This is a great way to refresh your knowledge, hear new perspectives, or explore updated course materials.

Please note that the exam is not included with audit attendance.

Do you offer self-study options?

Yes. Many courses are available as self-study with on-demand materials and an exam voucher. It’s perfect when your schedule is busy or you prefer to learn at your own pace.

Do your courses qualify for Professional Education Hours (PDUs, CPDs, etc.)?

Yes. Many offerings qualify for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. See the ITSM Academy Professional Education Hours (PEH) list for the exact number of points.

Can training be tailored to our ServiceNow or other ITSM tools?

Yes. While our courses are framework-anchored, we frequently contextualize exercises for platforms such as ServiceNow so teams can apply learning to real-world workflows quickly.

Do you provide private training for teams?

Absolutely. We deliver private, role-relevant certification courses and workshops for teams of all sizes. Workshops can be tailored to your processes, tooling, and improvement goals.

Yes. Volume discounts, including open-enrollment SandDollar training passes are available for teams. Get in touch and we’ll recommend the best fit for your budget and roadmap.

Where do I access my class materials and links?

Use our Learner Portal my.itsmacademy.com to access your class materials.

You will have received an email with the subject line: Welcome to ITSM Academy Class from class@itsmacademy.com with class start times, links and more.

What is your cancellation or reschedule policy?

We offer fair, transparent options for cancellations and date changes. A link to our Public Classroom Terms and Conditions appears during checkout and in your confirmation email; contact us if you need help with a specific situation.
