The ITIL 4 Scheme
ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP)
(Middle column in the image) targets IT practitioners working within technology and digital teams across businesses. The Managing Professional (MP) stream provides practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful IT-enabled services, teams, and workflows.
ITIL 4 Strategic Leader (SL)
(Right column in the image) recognizes the value of ITIL 4, not just for IT operations, but for all digitally-enabled services. Becoming an ITIL SL demonstrates a clear understanding of how IT influences and directs business strategy. To obtain the designation ITIL 4 MP or ITIL 4 SL, the candidate must complete all modules in each stream, with ITIL 4 Strategist being a universal module for both.
ITIL 4 Practice Certifications
(Left column in the image) Practice-based modules, based on the ITIL practice guides, are being rolled out by PeopleCert. These include bundled 3-day trainings with hands-on assignments using real-world scenarios and guidance on the ITIL 4 Maturity Model.
How to become an ITIL Master
To achieve the ITIL Master designation, you must complete the ITIL Practice Manager, Managing Professional, and Strategic Leader tracks.
